I used to be a bit of a snob about photos shot straight down onto a dog but lately I've been getting a kick out of them. I am going to redo this once I'm a bit more familiar with my camera - and once I have three similar shots where the eyes are actually in focus - but this amuses me non-the-less.

Canon XSi. My G9 takes great photos but I wanted the flexibility of a dslr.
So far I'm pretty happy!
Good for you. I have not regretted spending the money on my dSLR either. I've learned SO much!
